Stuck In A Scrapbook Rut?
1. Check out some YouTube videos on scrapbooking layouts. have never made it though more than one without pressing pause and making a quick layout that was inspired by something I saw.
2. When I haven’t scrapbooked in a while, I look through my photos and grab the first thing that captures my attention. I really look at the photos and remember the moment and focus on the emotions they evoke.
4. Scraplift! AKA: To use someone's scrapbooking layout, concept, and/or design elements.

5. Turn to sketches. Page design has always been a stumbling block for me. Using a sketch gives me a starting point.
Do you ever lose your scrapbooking motivation? Perhaps
you get in a rut and are feeling uninspired. Or maybe you feel a need for fresh
design ideas or story angles? Lots of times life can get in the way making no
time for scrapbooking, and then it can be hard to restart the work.
3. Use challenges to help give you a push in the right direction.

6. Let go of perfection. I can’t tell you how many times I didn’t start something or didn’t finish something because I thought it wasn’t perfect. Perfectionism can kill creativity.
7. Make a list of techniques/ideas to try, and just pick one. I have a list of things I want to try on a page in my notebook. When I get stuck on what to do on a page, I can refer to it and just pick one thing to do.
