CHRISTMAS BOTTLE TAGS

When we think of bottle tags, we mostly think of gifts of wine, or similar.  However, there are many bottled gifts that make perfect Christmas presents, which all deserve a creative tag.  What about a bottle of lovely Black Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar, herb-infused oil, or Grandma's secret plum sauce.

Instructions:
  1. Cut cardstock at 7 cm x 21 cm and score at 7 cm down from the top.  Die-cut a 4.5 cm hole at the top for the neck of the bottle.  Cut a v-shape at the bottom that is approximately 1 cm deep.
  2. Cut cardstock at 7 cm x 9.8 cm, cut coordinating designer paper at 7 cm x 9 cm, and adhere to together.  Add Tear & Tape Adhesive to the back, along the bottom edge only.  Adhere to the bottle tag as the pocket.
  3. Wrap a 30 cm length of ribbon about the top of the pocket and tie a knot.
  4. Die-cut a 6 cm stitched circle from Very Vanilla cardstock and adhere to the front of the bottle tag, tucking it under the ribbon.
  5. Rub cardstock with Embossing Buddy, stamp small ornament in VersaMark, add copper embossing powder, shake off excess, and heat set.  Stamp large ornament on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Punch out both ornaments and add to the front of the bottle tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  6. Add a copper star to the large ornament.
  7. Cut cardstock at 6 cm x 9.5 cm for the tag insert.  Die-cut a 5.5 cm x 9 cm stitched rectangle from Very Vanilla cardstock, stamp words, and adhere to the tag insert.
  8. Punch a hole in the tag insert and thread through a 12 cm length of ribbon.  Tie off the ribbon with a 10 cm length of Linen Thread.
  9. Slide tag insert into the bottle tag.
