Autumn Themed Blog Hop

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Northern Stamper! I’m Tina and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Ontario Canada. I’m excited to be taking part in my very first Blog Hop with this group of other wonderful Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe.

Fall is just around the corner and I hope we inspire you with ideas for creating "Autumn" themed cards.

Don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. Then, at the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along.

Stampin’ Up!’s new Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper is absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this gorgeous Blackberry Beauty Specialty designer series paper!  It is even prettier in person.

When you see the word “specialty,” it means there is something special in the paper. In this case, one side of every sheet has gold accents!  This paper is gorgeous! Did I mention that I’m totally in love with the new Blackberry Beauty paper?

The traditional autumn images of leaves, sprigs, and birds paired with this nontraditional colour palette are sure to bring unexpected impact to all of your paper crafting projects, especially with the added shine of gold foil accents!

12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs, some with gold foil accents

I wanted to replicate the beautiful feathers that are found in the designer paper, so I used the feather stamp from the "Tasteful Touches" and used the Cinnamon Cedar ink where I placed the image on the Very Vanilla card stock. To coordinate with the rich colours from the paper, I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set on an angle.
