This is Otterly Cute!

I did want to share this little rascal with you

I just love the little otter, and coloring with the Stampin' Blends is so fun and easy.

One of the perks of being a Stampin’Up! demonstrator (or discount shopper) is getting my hands on products early and these super cute critters is one stamp set I was happy to get early!

To create this card:

First I precut all of the papers:

    Melon Mambo carstock Card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"

    Pool Party cardstock mat: 4 " x 5 1/4"

    Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies #151690 (Annual) I cut out 5 cardstock pieces. 1 in each colour: Basic White, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay

    4 1/2" x 3 1/4" piece from the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP also available from the Sale-a-bration with a qualifying order of $60 found on page 8

Then I stamped random pattern images of the otter on the Pool Party cardstock in matching Pool Party Ink 

Adhered the Pool Party Mat to the card front card base. Layer the DSP onto the middle of the Pool Party Card stock and added a small left over piece of DSP in the middle. 

On the Basic White cardstock I stamped the image of the otter and coloured him with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. To create the festive dots around the otter, I used the 'splatter' dots in Pool Party Ink (the splatter image is from the Sale-a-bration catalogue found in the Friendly Hello Stamp set and DSP bundle #159990  (qualifying order of $120) page 12)

Layering the Basic White stamped image, I offset the other colour cardstock labels to create a rainbow effect, securing them all together. I then adhered them to the middle of the DSP on the card front.

All that was left was to stamp a sentiment in Memento Ink, secure with Dimensionals and add some embellishments that I coloured using Stampin' Blends.
