One Stamp Set and How It All Began.....
I was doing some reflecting and though I would let you know my crafting journey. Many of you may not know this all about me and how I got started….
A few years back, a friend of mine was sitting beside me, just gluing some cards together. We got to talking and as I ran our group’s “Ladies Night Out” events, I thought that paper crafting would be a fun evening for us to try. It was fun! We had a blast and everyone felt like they were first class crafters! It was SOOO easy to make!
Well, half an hour into the craft and I was HOOKED! I loved it all – the colours, the ink, the paper but yeah, I wasn’t ready to invest my hard earned money. Then a great deal came up and I took the leap and became a “KITNAPPER”. I though “What have I got to lose?” Nothing!
I joined but never with the intent to make this into a career. I just wanted a great deal on some super cute stamps and a lifetime of crafting supply discounts where I didn’t have to hunt for a 45% coupon each week - sound familiar?
Fast forward a few years later -- I have retired from my full time job and now enjoy spending my day crafting and meeting amazing people, teaching others that ‘YES” they can crate beautiful handmade greeting cards they are proud to send to others (or keep).
When I was thinking about some of these big milestones in my businesses and career, it was always with the support and of my "tribe" and those that lead my way. I never looked back and I LOVE every day of my ‘retirement’!
