Happy New Year, crafters! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for a new year of creativity and joy. I'm so excited to share with you my 2024 crafting resolutions and hear yours too.

Let's make this a year of making and sending more cards. Card making is a great way to spend our time and when we're done we get to encourage others by sending them. New Year’s is a time when many people make resolutions to do better, achieve goals, make progress, change behaviors, start new hobbies, and live a more fulfilling life. Here are some of the resolutions I made for my crafting this year:

#1) I resolve to use up my stash this year. I have so many beautiful papers, stamps, dies, and embellishments that I bought but never used. I want to make the most of them and create some amazing projects with them.

#2) I resolve to participate in my own paper share this year. A paper share is getting a smaller size usually 6"x6" of a variety of papers offered in a new realease such as the 8 packages from the 2024 Mini Catalogue or join in on the 12+ packages offered in the new Annual catalogue in April. I love designer series paper but I don't need a whole pack of each one. By joining a paper share, I can get a smaller amount of each paper and still have a variety to choose from. Plus, it helps you support my small business!

#3) I resolve to send out my cards this year. I have a habit of making cards and then keeping them in a box or a drawer. But cards are meant to be shared and bring joy to others. So this year, I will mail out the cards I make each month, randomly hand them out, or donate them to a good cause.
#4) I resolve to buy quality tools and supplies this year. I know it's tempting to buy cheap knock-offs from online sites like Temu or Wish, but they are not worth it. They are poor quality, unreliable, and unethical. They also steal your personal information and put you at risk. Instead, consider buying from trusted sources like me - Northern Stamper, who only sells genuine Stampin' Up! products that are high quality and guaranteed.

These are my crafting resolutions for 2024. They are realistic, achievable, and fun. They fit with my lifestyle and my values. They will make me happy and proud of my crafting.

What about you? What are your crafting resolutions for the new year? Share them in the comments below or on our Facebook group. I would love to hear from you and cheer you on.
