What Are Ink Spots?

Ink Spots are small, portable ink pads that pack a big creative punch. You can make your own custom ink pads in exactly the colours you need by pairing Uninked Stampin’ Spots with Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills. It’s an easy way to customise your colour collection without committing to full-size pads.

Ink Spots are perfect for:

  • Crafting on the go

  • Small workspaces

  • Sharing colours with friends or class participants

Prefer ready-to-use options? You can also use the fast-drying, dye-based inkClassic Stampin’ Inks in a smaller size, available in coordinated five-piece colour stories. These already inked sets are ideal for starting your ink collection or for popping into your craft bag when you’re creating away from home.

How Create the Look of this Card

1.  Score the 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (21 x 14.9 cm) Basic White Cardstock at 4-1/4" (10.5 cm) and fold in half to create a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (10.5 x 14.9 cm) card.

2.  Ink one half of an Uninked Stampin’ Spot with Pretty in Pink and the other half with Daffodil Delight. Drag the ink pad across the Basic White Cardstock layer vertically and horizontally to form a plaid pattern.

3.  Stamp the flower and leaves image in Pretty in Pink and Garden Green ink on
the Basic White Cardstock scrap piece. Punch it out using the 2" Circle Punch, then adhere it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.  Stamp the sentiment in Garden Green ink on the Basic White Cardstock strip
and adhere it to the card front.

5.  Add In Color Flat Pearls for a little shine.

Custom spots are an easy way to make your cards feel intentional, artistic, and totally you. Give it a try next time you sit down to create—you might get hooked.
