Sometimes Things Don't Turn Out Like You Envisioned Them...
Don’t give up too easily. If a project doesn’t seem to
be coming together like you envisioned it, try your best in other ways to
redeem your piece of work.

When
you’re starting out, a ‘craft fail’ can be really disheartening, and you may
lose your motivation to have another go. I have been there - sometimes I make
things and they don’t turn out to my liking, sometimes the colours don’t quite
work out, sometimes, well I just don't like what I made.

opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” – Henry Ford
Craft
Fails are a great learning opportunity and most of the time, only you can see
the imperfections of what we create. Consider
adding an embellishment or cutting the piece apart and use it to create on
another item.
Remember; don’t be too critical of your work. Handmade
may have flaws and that is OKAY.
